mindfulness half-day retreats

These days are all about taking some time for yourself and finding some peace, some inspiration and enthusiasm to take back into your day-to-day life.
We will do some gentle movements, practice
breathing techniques to help release physical, mental & emotional tension. I will lead you through ways to practice mindfulness both as a formal seated practice as well as mindful exercises you can do throughout your day.
We will also be sure to spend some time outside; walking, sitting and simply being, experiencing all the benefits of forest bathing and mindfulness.
We will always finish the day with a guided deep releaxation (yoga nidra).
​Mindful Mornings are suitable for absolute beginners or those with an established mindfulness or meditation practice; I will adapt the day to the group so we all have a wonderful day!

Mindfulness for Everyday Life

Mindfulness for everyone; from beginners to those with some experience of meditation.
You can sit on chairs or your own cushions but we won't just be sitting all morning.
There will be slow & gentle movement, breathing techniques, walking meditation hopefully in the garden, and a deliciously lengthy guided relaxation, eating chocolate &/or oranges, and generally finding out how wonderfully varied practicing mindfulness can be.
Arrive anytime from 9.30 and set yourself up with your own mat, cushions & or blankets. Help yourself to a range of teas and coffees and have a chat or just lie down and chill before we begin.
There'll be plentiful breaks to move about and time for questions about anything mindful.
I'll provide hot drinks and some snacks; please feel free to bring anything you'd particularly like.

Numbers will be limited, so don't dilly dally!
The morning will cost £25.

Mindful Afternoon

The weather as the kids go back to school can be like a second summer or suddenly very cold and wet, so we will adjust our practice accordingly on this afternoon.
It will definitely be mindfulness for everyone; from beginners to those with some experience of meditation.

You can sit on chairs or your own cushions but we won't just be sitting all morning. Be prepared for a short walk, less than 30 minutes either up into the forest or down to a stream, with mindful practices on the way and once we arrive.
There will also be slow & gentle movement, breathing techniques and a deliciously lengthy guided relaxation.
Arrive from 12.45 and set yourself up with your own mat, cushions &/or blankets. Help yourself to a range of teas and coffees and have a chat, or just lie down and chill before we begin.
There'll be plentiful breaks to move about and time for questions about anything mindful.
I'll provide hot drinks and some snacks; please feel free to bring anything you'd particularly like.
